Cloves are commonly recognized as a spice used in cooking, but they have also been used for centuries to treat various health concerns. Cloves are high in antioxidants, which are compounds that may interfere with the production of cell-damaging free radicals. Cloves are thought to have some anti-inflammatory properties and have been promoted to help with toothache, dental pain, plaque buildup, gingivitis, cavities, may help regulate blood sugar, can kill bacteria, and help indigestion.
Made in small batches. This liquid tincture is best taken in water or juice.
Packaging: 1 oz. amber glass bottles with a cap and dropper.
Precautions:
When consumed in small amounts, clove is generally well-tolerated and safe for most people, assuming they don’t have an allergy to the spice. However, clove tincture should be handled with more caution, especially if using it internally.
Clove tincture should only be ingested in very small amounts, since it can trigger side effects if over-consumed. Consuming clove has the potential to cause indigestion and other digestive issues, burning sensations, and possibly liver damage.
Clove can be toxic to children. Store products that contain clove away and out of reach of children in your household.
We recommend that you consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using herbal products, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, or on any medications.
