Heal-all, also known as Prunella vulgaris, is a wild plant from the mint family that has been used for medicinal purposes for centuries.
It is primarily said to support the digestive and integumentary systems.
It is known to be antibacterial, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, an astringent and a diuretic.
Some common medicinal uses of heal-all/self-heal :
- As an antiviral to inhibit the herpes virus and reduce the replication of the HIV virus
- As an immune booster to trigger an immune response as a result of bacterial infections
